Troma Entertainment Partners with Horror Film Roulette
Top three films will stream on Troma NOW
Lloyd Kaufman, president of Troma Entertainment and creator of The Toxic Avenger, has announced that Troma is teaming up with Horror Film Roulette for this year’s festival. Here’s what that means for filmmakers: in addition to the grand prize, the top three films from this year’s competition will be placed on Troma NOW, Troma’s streaming service, where thousands of subscribers will see the work. That’s a real distribution placement in front of an audience that has followed Troma’s independent horror output for nearly fifty years.

Thirteen years, thirteen films, one from every year of Horror Film Roulette, plus an advance screening of Hellmare, a Troma exclusive made in Detroit. Doors 6:30 PM, films at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $20, or $10 when you also have an in-person October 23 ticket.

You get four weeks to write, shoot, and edit your five-minute horror short. No extensions.
Upload through FilmFreeway before the clock hits zero. Judges will then vote.
Finalists screen at the live festival. Winner takes the grand prize and the trophy.
